Board of Finance Meetings to be Televised | Channel 79 11/10/09
Starting November 17, Wilton Board of Finance meetings will be televised on Channel 79, Wilton’s government access channel. The meetings will be televised live (at 7:30 p.m.), and re-run several times a day.

In the only contested election in Wilton, there are four candidates for three seats on the Board of Finance. The Wilton League of Women Voters, the Wilton Library, and the Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor a Q&A session for the candidates for the Board of Finance on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Brubeck Room of the Wilton Library.

The annual Fall BBQ Fundraiser, held on Saturday, September 12 at Merwin Meadows drew the highest attendance in years, despite the touch-and-go weather conditions and the fact that the 2009 elections will feature municipal races but no state or national contests.
