Rep. Reeves Tours New Connecticut Business
State Representative Peggy Reeves (D-Wilton/Norwalk) toured the recently opened Sun Products Technology Center in Trumbull. “Sun chose Connecticut because of our well-educated labor force and our state’s continuing commitment to the high tech sector,” said Representative Reeves.

Adding New Jobs in Connecticut
Wilton based Sun Products is a leading provider of laundry detergent, fabric softeners, dish care and other household products, with annual net sales of more than $2 billion. The 46,000-square foot Technology Center will employ about 80 people including scientists, engineers and packaging designers. With its headquarters in Wilton and the Technology Center in Trumbull, Sun Products now employs about 200 people in Connecticut.
Craig Slavtcheff, Senior Vice President, Research and Development, Sun Products added, “Sun Products is making a significant investment in the Technology Center. In addition to laboratories and package design facilities, the facility also provides space to interact with consumers and gain their insight on products which steers future product performance and design.”
Representative Peggy Reeves is serving her first term representing most of Wilton and part of Norwalk in the 143rd Assembly District. Rep Reeves sits on the legislature’s Government Administration and Elections, Judiciary and Transportation Committees.
